Plan a short check for a narrow rectangular patch

Define the edges first, adjust deliberately and observe before recording a full test.

Mark your intended edges

On a simple sketch, separate the planted patch from the path, building and street. Look for width and range controls on the exact model, then read how they are operated. The presence of an adjustment does not prove it can reach every narrow width.

Change one control at a time

Begin according to the supplied instructions and observe where the spray lands. Record a setting before changing the next control. Check both sides of an independently adjustable pattern, rather than assuming a centered position suits an off-center patch.

Measure the resulting setup

Once the observed boundaries are reasonable, note the hose arrangement and run a catch-can check. If spray is missing the intended area or water is pooling, stop and reconsider the setup. Increasing duration alone is not a reliable fix for a poor pattern.
